Crazy Story of Prostitution

      A polish man was nearly shocked to death in Poland.  He was visiting a local brothel for some sex for sale.  Who does the man run into in the brothel?  His wife!  It seems that she had told him that she was working in a nearby market place to make ends meet.  It seems the truth proved to be way more interesting.  She was day timing as a prostitute.  The man reported to the local paper, "I was dumfounded. I thought I was dreaming."  The man was seeking sex elsewhere and the woman was receiving sex elsewhere.  Yikes!  It looks like a little communication would have gone a long way.  In the end all the deception was too much to handle and the man filed for divorce.  However, lets do the math.  Two out of two people in one marriage are both engaged in sex for money.  This case may be extreme, however, the facts can't be ignored.  People like sex, and they don't mind paying for it.  So lets make it possible!

Fellatio on the Rise

      Prostitutes definitely afford their customers with certain things that one may not feel comfortable partaking in around the home front.  A man and a woman in a happy marriage can have many sexual problems.  This does not tarnish their relationship.  For example, a man and a woman can love eat other very much and be quite communicative in most aspects of their lives.  However, communication in the bedroom might be lacking.  Sexual comfort, or discomfort in many cases, can be a major reason that married men seek extra curricular sexual activity.

      Many men report a lack of fellatio within their marriage.  Is this related to prostitution use or is it just a coincidence?  Lets take a look at the statistics.  Married men who have been caught soliciting prostitutes sometimes get caught.  Some of them enter studies anonymously for psychologists and others to gain a little inside into the sexual underground.  The facts they came up with are astonishing, and I say lend a great deal of explanation.

      Married men who use prostitutes are scoring a whopping 81% paying for fellatio to a smaller percentage (55) for sexual intercourse.  So what does this mean?  Perhaps its time to open up the communication in the bedroom or be prepared to open up your wallet!

The Best of the Best!

      When we here the term best of the best, what is it that comes to mind?  Some would say elite athletes, some might say C.I.A. operatives.  This term used to be coined when referring to Americas elite secret service.  The men and women who are put into place to protect the President of the United States of America are known as the Secret Service.  Their training is extensive, their backgrounds are flawless, and up until now their reputations are untainted.
      President Obama was all set to visit Columbia this week.  For the Secret Service this is business as usual.  They get to the presidents destination early.  They do security checks and walk throughs to assure that the president is safe.  This is the daily routine of such elite security agents.  In this case, however, the routine changed.  The discipline of these brave men was broken.
      Eleven secret service agents and five members of the army were reported in Columbia as "drunk" and "soliciting prostitutes".  Their behavior can be noted as despicable by many.  The president has called into effect a major investigation.
      Lets look at the bigger picture here.  If these elite men of discipline are behaving in such a way, isn't it possible that its time to broaden or horizons and accept that sex is a basic primary need?  Perhaps the way in which this scandal has been brought to light is a negative attention getter.  However, I believe it is representative of a much larger issue.  How about you?

The Feminist Movement and Prostitution

       Prostitutes all over are truly furious with the feminist academics who live in their ivory towers.  Their source of anger is not based on envy like one might think.  It is instead based on slander.  These intellectual feminists try and portray working girls as victims of sexual abuse and they also say that these prostitutes are so unhappy they are not even aware of it anymore.  They say the idea of a happy hooker is a myth.  The prostitutes resent and detest this and say it is an absolute falsity.  These feminists are creating information to further their own beliefs.  They are manipulating facts to support and idea that exists solely in their heads.  Prostitutes have no misconceptions about their jobs.  They know it is not pretty, however, they work for pay and they dont need peoples pitty or misconceptions to get them by.  These women provide a service.  The service is sex.  It comes at a price that both the sex worker and the gentleman caller both agree upon.  These terms make both parties happy.  One prostitute said, "I cannot say the men that I have contact with are the type of people I would like to go out to dinner with. But they are inoffensive, generous people who are willing to pay for a service which I am happy to provide when they are paying me".

       Why can't prostitutes have the same rights as others?  They are just trying to ply their trade and make some money like the rest of us.  However, they see resistance at every turn.  They are prosecuted and abused.  Due to this they turn to the underground life.  It is unfair and unnecessary.
       Massage parlors all over the tri-state area are famous for many things, right?  Wrong!  Sure they have their clients who come in and get a full body massage for sixty dollars an hour.  However, those innocent and unassuming clients are not of interest.  The fact is, a lot of their clients are going in for something else.  A good old fashioned "rub and tug".  This means they get a thirty minute back massage followed by some hand to genital hanky panky.  Everyone knows about it, the cops included.  In fact, some of their customers are cops, but I digress.  Illegal as this operation may be, you will still find their adds in the back of the yellow pages.
       Escorts are considered "dates for hire".  The fact is that most of these "dates for hire" are not charging upwards of two hundred dollars an hour for conversation and laughter.  It isn't companionship that their customers seek most of the time.  It is, again, sexual favors.  That is, in its simplest form, prostitution.
       If these other forms of prostitution can advertise on craigslist and in the back of the yellow pages then its only fair that prostitutes can as well.  It seems that legality is not really the issue here.  Maybe the issue is the stigma.  Prostitution is prostitution, no matter how you color it and disguise it.  Remove the stigma!

Average Dreams for an Average Reality

With this new economic status that we are in it is hard to make your nut, no pun intended.  Just to break even and not go into debt is a real challenge now a days.  People are getting layed off left and right.  They are unsure of where their next meal is going to come from.  We are in a current state of panic where average is in fact anything but that.  Average is now considered above average.  The days of ten thousand dollar bonuses and all inclusive healthcare are far behind.  Even the thousand dollar a night call girl is now charging two hundred and fifty dollars an hour. So what is one to do?  This excerpt from a local paper reads,  "Shana, 42, lost her $45,000-a-year job as a secretary last year. Sienna [who's working on her graduate degree in English Lit] was laid off in July from her job as an executive assistant with a travel agency. Shana, who worked briefly as a waitress before hooking up with her current gig, is putting her son through college. 'He's trying to get an engineering degree,' she explained. 'With the economy the way it is, how is my son going to get a loan? And he's going to finish college."  People will do whatever it takes to continue on the status quo.  No one is trying to get rich, only trying to get bye.  Who is to say if that is okay or not?  Not you or I.  If prostitution is a means to an end, and it is a necessity to make money, then I say go for it!  Make your nut, and save some for a rainy day or a college fund.

Money, Madness, and Making things better!

Anti-prostitution laws are extremely expensive to uphold.  The average city in the United States spends upwards of 8 million dollars on prostitution control annually.  That is at an average rate of approximately two thousand dollars per case tried. Regardless of this fact, the streets continue to play host to a plethora of prostitutes.  Throwing money at the prostitution “problem” makes things worse.  This problem has a domino effect.  One problem on the street begets another problem.  It becomes a very slippery slope and a dangerous one as well.  The money spent by cities has become the band-aid to the prostitution bullet wound.  These prostitutes are fearful of the long arm of the law so where do they turn?  The answer is almost always “underground”.  Doesn’t that sound safe?!  Of course it doesn’t!  This is where the problems begin happening.  Rape, drug use, and abuse from pimps are just some of the sad realities that begin to occur in the criminal underworld.  Instead, why not use the cities money to keep prostitutes safe?  Why not set up a union, whereby street workers can pay dues?  Participation in the contribution of such dues could allow an inclusion of brothels for rent, medical treatment, safe sex regulations, and other positive standards which will allow for the ever present and ever thriving prostitutes to be safe and avoid the terror which awaits them when they are forced to ply their trade out of sight.  On the backside, no pun intended, the government can tax these sex workers and contribute to the real problems with prostitution.  Now instead of wasting money the state would be earning some, which in this economy is almost unheard of!  The appropriation of these funds can now help lead to the conviction of charges brought against the rapists, and the pimps who would by this time be forced out of their holes!
